Default Is Lakeside County screwed up for anyone else?

It takes forever to load and when I get in I freeze every few steps.

Hmmm no problem here, but that was yesterday. What are you running(computer, connection)?

Are you saying you just checked and no problems or you were having no problems yesterday? The problem just started 15 minutes ago. I was having no problems prior to that, so it is not a computer issue. It could be a connection issue but more than likely it is a server issue since we are experiencing the same thing in the same region (an unlikely coincedence). I'm back at work now though so I can't see if it's gotten any better yet.

yes i experience the same thing, huuge lag spikes. and no i didnt experience it before and my (top notch) hardware has strictly nothing to do with this. now whats the point having content cached and instanced when you experience way more lag than in standard mmorpg???
if they dont fix URGENTLY the lag issues i'll return the game. I dont like lies and bad net code.

Is there a lightning bolt and a number like 445k or something up in the upper right hand corner? It might mean that you are still downloading an updated area or parts of it. This thread should be moved to the tech support section.

i play with my old character and its laggy. and no lightning bolt icon at the corner. its simply bad net code thats the consequence of no meaningful stress beta. lets prepare for worse

Laggy gameplay and everyone is in the same place complaining about it - Lakeside Country. If it only lags there, then it is some sort of bug. Does it lag anywhere else? Also are there any debug commands peeps can use to sort such things out on their own (fps, kb transfer, etc)?

i lagged in lakeside yesterday, but also today in ascalon. and as for "meaningful stress test," they did had a 400k person event for e3. that seems pretty stressful to me, but i'm no network admin so i dunno if that counts.

i dunno about the lag... i never lagged since release. In one Beta Event i had lag problems (but that probably was my provider) otherwise i've been lucky. I've played with lots of people though who've told me that they're lagging, so i suppose it's not the servers but something on route.
